For those new to the farm you will see some dead trees, on November 10th. 2014 we were in the 70's three days later on November 13th. we hit a low of -10 degrees. The sudden severe drop caused the sap to freeze in the trees and this caused the loss of almost 1,000 Apple trees. The trees did not have a chance to go dormant . We planted roughly 800 new Apple trees this year and will plant a thousand more in 2017. Please forgive the dead trees we sure did not want to lose the little guys and are slowly replacing the lost trees.
WE OPEN IN EARLY AUGUST FOR THE 2016 SEASON WITH APPLES. THE BLACKBERRIES AND RASPBERRIES WILL FOLLOW IN MID TO LATE AUGUST RESPECTIVILEY. PLEASE CHECK BACK IN LATE JULY FOR MORE INFO AND UPDATES ON THE APPLES AND BERRIES.
